For patients recovering from a musculoskeletal (MSK) injury, constant attendance and adherence to physical therapy is essential. However, the real test to a full recovery is the patient continuing their prescribed exercise routine at-home. Often, a single sheet of paper is provided as a guide for instructions. This method lacks engagement, encouragement and “motivational accountability”. Zoetic Motion is designing a suite of tools designed for both patients and the care provider to enhance recovery. We’ve gamified the physical therapy recovery process with computer vision-based coaching and reward our users for taking the right steps toward a full recovery.
